Our Single Cell Unit is Sponsoring a Grant Program for Innovative Investigators
The Single Cell Unit of the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute is sponsoring Innovative Investigators at Institutions in the North East Area of Spain, in the framework of 10x Genomics Core Lab Grant Program.
The goal of this program is to enable researchers as they seek to generate pilot data to submit in support of future grant applications, and to promote the use of cutting-edge solutions from 10x Genomics for genomics and translational research.
What does this grant cover?
The 10x Genomics Single Cell Grant Program covers pilot projects using the following single cell sequencing application from 10x Genomics:
Single Cell 3’ RNA Gene Expression This award supports the whole workflow except the sequencing costs.
The winner(s) will be selected and will be awarded:
1st selected project, a free 4 reaction kit 2nd selected project, a 50% discount on a 4 reaction kit 3rd selected project, a 25% discount on a 4 reaction kit How can I apply?
We’re inviting researchers to submit an abstract of max 300 words, before June 7, proposing a pilot research project that uses the Single Cell 3’ RNA Gene Expression solution from 10x Genomics.
Applicants must hold primary research positions and must be planning to submit a grant application to support a broader research aim for which they need pilot data. Applicants may not hold current awards directly related to the proposed research.
A 10x Genomics committee will review and select winners based on research creativity and innovation.
